Coach Ryan brings patience, positivity, and a strong commitment to helping every player learn, grow, and feel confident on the field. With many new players on the team, he takes the time to teach the fundamentals and techniques of the game while making sure practices remain fun and encouraging. His dedication also extends beyond the field, creating opportunities for players and families to connect and build stronger relationships as a team. Through his thoughtful coaching, patience, and focus on development, Coach Ryan is helping his players build not only football skills, but also confidence, teamwork, and lasting friendships.

Michelle Parnell

Coach Michelle creates a positive, fun, and team-first environment that keeps players coming back season after season. She balances competition with skill development, sportsmanship, and equal opportunities for every player, always encouraging the boys to do their best while still enjoying the game. Her dedication goes beyond practices and game days, as she is constantly looking for new drills, plays, and ways to help the team improve. Win or lose, Coach Michelle leads with positivity, fairness, and genuine care for her players, making her an important part of their experience both on and off the field.

Coach Quincy stepped up as a first-time coach when the team needed someone to lead, and he has embraced the role with dedication, care, and enthusiasm. He takes the time to understand each player’s individual strengths, helping them develop their skills while keeping the team motivated and excited to play together. His thoughtful leadership also shows in the way he prioritizes player well-being and makes careful decisions with their best interests in mind. After every practice and game, he reminds his players how proud he is of their progress, creating a positive environment where they can grow in confidence, teamwork, and character.

Coach Colt combines strong leadership, patience, and genuine care to create an environment where players can learn, improve, and enjoy the game. He is committed to teaching the fundamentals while also emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, respect, and accountability. His coaching goes beyond competition, helping young athletes build confidence, discipline, and a strong work ethic both on and off the field. Through thoughtful instruction, encouragement, and consistent support, Coach Colt makes each player feel valued while challenging them to grow, making a meaningful and lasting impact on the boys he coaches.

Cody

Dublin Bobcats • Micro
In his first season, Cody has shown incredible energy, speed, and love for football. He listens to his coaches, works hard to improve, and always cheers on his teammates. This week, his effort paid off with a huge run and his very first touchdown! His enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and determination make him an exciting young player to watch.

Gunner

Kenwood Bearcats • Micro
In his very first season of flag football, Gunner has already shown an impressive understanding of the game on both offense and defense. He has worked hard, pulled several flags, scored his first touchdown, and continues to improve every week. Just as importantly, Gunner brings a positive attitude to the field, listens well, supports and encourages his teammates, and is always excited to play. His enthusiasm, teamwork, and love for football have made his first season a great one so far, and we are so proud of him!

In his very first season, Kaiden has already shown incredible dedication, hard work, and a strong willingness to learn and improve. He continues to step up, take on new challenges, and make great progress every time he is on the field. His effort, positive attitude, and commitment to becoming the best player he can be have truly stood out, and we are so proud of his participation and improvement throughout the season. Kaiden has an exciting future ahead of him — maybe even a future MVP and NFL player!

At just 4 years old, Cohen is already showing incredible effort, determination, and love for the game. He has improved so much, works hard on every play, scored a touchdown this week, and is always cheering on and supporting his teammates. His hustle, positive energy, and drive make him such a great young teammate to watch!

Carsyn

Gahanna Falcons • Junior
Carsyn showed outstanding effort, leadership, and sportsmanship on both sides of the ball. He stepped up at quarterback, connected with his teammates for two passing touchdowns, and made a key interception on defense. More importantly, Carsyn brought great energy, encouraged his teammates, communicated well, and showed respect for both the opposing team and the referees. ⭐

Loveland Dawgs • Junior
Colt is a hardworking, kind, and dedicated team player who leads by example. He is always willing to help and encourage his teammates, gives his best every time he steps on the field, and can contribute in multiple positions. His hard work paid off in Week 1 with two touchdowns, showing both his athletic ability and commitment to his team. ⭐

Sam

Kettering Badgers • Mini
Sam has shown incredible courage and resilience after being diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes this summer. One of his first questions was whether he could still play flag football — and in his very first game, he answered that with a touchdown and an interception. Through a major life adjustment, Sam continues to show determination, bravery, and heart both on and off the field. ⭐

Grayson

Covington Tar Heels • Senior
Grayson brings heart, determination, and a team-first attitude every time he takes the field. He continues to work hard, step outside his comfort zone, and improve each week — and catching two passes on Sunday was an exciting example of that growth paying off. ⭐

Each Monday after the weekend games, nominations open for that week’s featured Spotlight category.

Parents and coaches recognize someone who stood out through effort, performance, leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship or positive impact.

The nominee receiving the highest number of valid nominations in each region earns that week’s recognition.
